We DO care about you!

Simplicity of design is the hallmark of energy efficiency!
Plainly stated, the less moving parts a machine has, the less friction it produces and hence the less energy it consumes.
It is this principal that is the genesis for our 2.0 Chamber Management Design.

The precision components you see in the photos of our Solution Hybrid Motor are the result of Rudolphs Machine & Tool .We are grateful to its owner Frank Uellenberg for all his efforts and we could not have progressed as far as we have without his generous help!

The Rotory Compressed Air MOTOR

Introducing The Revolutionary

2.0 Chamber Management Motor.

Changing The Future Of Automotive Propulsion!

Our 2.0 Chamber Management Motor is a Rotary compressed air motor that uses a progressive chamber management configuration to minimize air consumption and has only thirteen moving parts including the bearings.

Its Components are made of state of the art materials with increased wear properties and when running are suspended on a cushion of air within the motor to reduce friction to a near zero state. Because of these design features it requires no lubrication, further reducing its impact on the environment.

The Low parts count and minimal friction loads result in extremely high motor efficiencies and reduced manufacturing and maintenance costs.

The motor produces high torque outputs at low RPMs which eliminates the need for a transmission further increasing its efficiencies.

With the low parts count and reduced friction loads, we anticipate Extended Motor Longevity. Should the motor ever need maintenance it is designed to be easily serviced without being removed from the vehicle and will only require inexpensive wear parts!

The Performance Outputs of the motor can be modified with simple screw adjustments made to the internal rotor.

The vehicle will have an uncomplicated Regenerative Breaking System that will be engaged by simply reversing the motors to act as compressors during deceleration and breaking.

The motor is made of light weight materials and weighs only thirty-three pounds each. Further reductions of the motor weight are anticipated with pending design changes.

According to the Rocky Mountain Institute, for every pound of vehicle weight reduction the resulting weight loss factor is 1.5.

This means by eliminating the Internal Combustion Engine, Transmission, Differential, Exhaust System, Radiators with their Fluids and replacing them with four thirty pound air motors, two compressed air tanks, and an eighteen HP gas engine tied to a rotary compressor will drastically reduce vehicle weight at a factor of 1.5 requiring smaller break systems, lighter frames and suspension components etc. As these components are lightened the vehicle in turn gets lighter further advancing the reduction in total weight.

These cumulative effects will ad to the likelihood that our project will not only succeed, but should revolutionize and advance the automotive industry into a new second generation of automobiles. Thus the reason for choosing the name 2.0 Solution Hybrid

We propose to build and test one prototype motor that will run on compressed air using this new design. The motor uses proven principals that are already being employed in industry.

We have redesigned the rotary motor concept to the next evolutionary level by reducing the chamber size and adding variable and regeneration valve arrangements. We believe these modifications will increase the vehicle range sufficiently to make it feasible to produce a viable compressed air driven passenger vehicle.

This concept has been around a long time and has been proven to work. But the use of pistons in compressed air engines has limited their range. Below is an article published in 1932 when Roy J Myers produced a car that ran all over Los Angeles CA for 500 miles with speeds of 35 MPH. To accomplish this, it required the use of high pressure air tanks making it impractical.

Real Time Progress:

Sept. 2/2008: We currently have a complete set of drawings and are filing our patent application while waiting on our manufacturer to quote the first prototype motor.

Sept. 20/2008: We have received confirmation of our Provisional Patent Application from the US Patent Office with the recording numbers and Quotes from our Machine Shops. We have ordered the materials for the first prototype and manufacturing will begin this week.

Oct. 22/2008: We have purchased all the materials and supplies to build the first prototype and have delivered them to the machine shops who have started construction of the components. Some of the Auto Cad design needed for the construction is complete and has been approved.

Nov. 07/2008: We received some part of the air motor from Machine Shop #1. (see pictures on motor page)

Dec. 17/2008:  The machine shop has completed most of the major parts and we have done a preliminary assembly of the major components and made adjustments for fit and clearances. A Photo expose of the motor has been done and will be posted on this web site shortly.

Jan. 12/2009: HAPPY NEW AIR MOTOR YEAR. The Year Solution Hybrid announced the first Air Motor that  changed the Auto Motive and Marine Industry. The first Motor that successfully replace the IC Engine on boats and SUV's ..., no leaks of oil into our precious waters and streets......

We hope to here this in 2010, but for now we had to order different material to finish the motor inside. Can't tell you exactly what :-) but it will spin soon!

Jan 19/2009 We welcome Dennis Bischof not only as our Design Engineer but also as Managing Member in Solution Hybrid LLC.

Feb 13/2009 Just in time for Valentine's Day Solution Hybrid is detailing the last parts to add to the 2.0 Solution Motor. This week a decision will be made with which Engine Dyno Company we will work to tune and report our Torque, HP and Air usage/RPM Specs.

March and April 2009: announcement to Politicians, EPA, Transportation Departments and President Obama.

May 2009: communication with several investor groups

May 4th / 2010: We have received confirmation of our 2nd Provisional Patent Application The VehicleSsystem from the US Patent Office with recording numbers.
