Anticipated Study Results, Findings and Determinations
- Determine if an air powered automobile is a viable concept that can compete with current internal combustion engine driven vehicles.
- Calculate the cost per mile to operate an air powered vehicle using this technology.
- Do a general preliminary cost savings analysis comparing the manufacturing cost of an air powered vehicle versus a conventional IC vehicle.
- Investigate modifications needed to make the prototype vehicle a viable concept.
- Calculate prototype performance perimeters (fuel consumption, speed, acceleration and range) to determine what modifications will be needed if any.
- Calculate air storage capacity needed to make the vehicle range acceptable to the general public.
- Analyze and correct unforeseen problems.
- Publish a white paper, to encourage further development of the technology.
- The anticipated time line for completion of the vehicle construction and analysis of its performance is nine months from the receipt of the grant funding.
- A copy of the white paper and its subsequent publication will follow within three months of the project completion.
